A Mandate Renewed

On June 20, 2026, the people of Ekiti State spoke, and they spoke with one voice. I am deeply humbled to have been re-elected as your Governor with 319,224 votes, carrying all 16 Local Government Areas of our dear state.

To every man, woman, and young person who came out to vote, I offer my deepest gratitude. Your overwhelming support is not merely a victory at the polls; it is a profound expression of trust, confidence, and shared belief in the future we are building together.

I receive this renewed mandate with humility and with a deep sense of responsibility. It reminds me that leadership is a sacred trust—one that must be earned every day through service, integrity, compassion, and results. I do not see this victory as a personal achievement, but as a collective affirmation of what we can accomplish when government and the people work together in pursuit of a common vision.

Over the past four years, we have travelled this journey side by side. Together, we have rebuilt roads and strengthened critical infrastructure. We have improved our schools and expanded access to quality healthcare. We have invested in agriculture, empowered our young people, supported businesses, enhanced security, and laid stronger foundations for sustainable economic growth. We have also worked diligently to make government more transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of our citizens.

The verdict you delivered is a clear message that the work must continue. It is a call to build faster, dream bigger, and serve better. As we begin this new chapter, I reaffirm my unwavering commitment to every community in Ekiti State. Whether you supported me or not, I remain your Governor. My administration will continue to govern with fairness, inclusiveness, and equity. We will ensure that no community is left behind and that every citizen has an opportunity to thrive.

Our vision remains clear: to build an Ekiti that is prosperous, resilient, innovative, and compassionate; a state where our children receive world-class education, where our healthcare system serves every family with dignity, where our farmers prosper, where businesses flourish, where our youth can pursue their dreams without leaving home, and where every citizen enjoys the dividends of good governance.

The journey ahead is filled with great promise. There is still much to accomplish, and I am inspired by what we can achieve together. With your continued partnership, your prayers, your constructive engagement, and your unwavering belief in our shared future, I am confident that the best days of Ekiti State are still ahead of us.
